Collaborating with printmaker and 2019 Urgency Arts Commissioned artist Catherine Cartwright, poet Fiona Benson ran a series of poetry and printmaking workshops at Exeter’s Royal Albert Memorial Museum with children from Thorverton C of E Primary School and Stoke Junior School.

Inspired by insect collections held at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum the children created a series of colourful prints and poems with sound production by Eliza Lomas.

Insect Love Songs
Throughout the 2019/2020 academic year Fiona ran a series of poetry workshops in both the South West and London, bringing people together with the worlds of poetry and entomology. Some of these workshops were run in collaboration with entomologists, scientists and researchers and others asked participants to take inspiration from insect specimens.
