Understanding and Mapping the Spaces that Enable Exchange

Artist Nick Green

Hosts Researchers at the Education Incubator, Streatham Campus

Creative Fellowship 2018
12 April, 2018

Arts and Culture Fellow Nick Green took part in the Education Incubator residential and researched less-obvious use of marginal spaces, to produce an exhibition box of maps, photos and principles.

His work took a look at the spaces that are used for exchanging knowledge in one way or another. This includes learning spaces, as well as informal spaces where people meet and talk, thinking and working together. Green's work helps us see these spaces in a new light. The project establishes design principles to reimagine the environments that would afford educators more opportunities to innovate and develop ideas within their education practice.

The finished work is currently available to view as an exhibitions box hosted by the Education Incubator Project. Please get in touch with us if you would like to see this resource.

The below image gallery shows just a handful of spaces that Nick researched during his fellowship with us.
