Nick Green, understanding and mapping the spaces that enable exchange
Arts and Culture Fellow Nick Green
fellowArts and Culture Fellow Nick Green took part in the Education Incubator residential and researched less-obvious use of marginal spaces, to produce an exhibition box of maps, photos and principles.
His work took a cool look at the spaces that are actually used for exchanging knowledge in one way or another. This includes learning spaces, but it also includes informal spaces where people meet and talk, thinking and working together. Green's work helps us see these spaces in a new light. The project establishes design principles to reimagine the environments that would afford educators more opportunities to innovate and develop ideas within their education practice.
The finished work is present as exhibitions boxes hosted by the Education Incubator Project.
You can view more of the spaces - good and less good - that Nick looked at in the slideshow below.
