Art and Energy artists Chloe Uden and Naomi Wright have been collaborating with post-doc researcher Katie Shanks over the past year challenging the aesthetics of silicon solar PV in order to re-imagine solar panels as places for artworks of the future. Art and Energy will celebrate the first year of this collaboration by exhibiting a number of Solar Panel Art works in the University of Exeter's ESI Creative Exchange Space from 5th September to 11th October 2019.
There will also be an artist talk in the ESI Trevithick on Friday 27th September from 4pm-5pm followed by a drinks reception 5-7pm. This will be a great opportunity to meet the artists and finds out more about their working process. During the talk, Art and Energy will share some of their learning and give a demonstration of the construction techniques.
The ESI Creative Exchange is open Monday to Friday from 9am-5pm. Entry to the exhibition is free.
