Digitisation is a global phenomenon that touches every industry and nearly every consumer in the world. For every industry, digitization changes the way products are made, sold, and distributed, as well as how companies are managed and how they compete.
Among the industries most affected by digitisation are those engaged in creating content, including, publishing, film and television, music and gaming sectors. In the past couple of years, we have seen new players in the creative industries, such as 3D printing creative services and digital museums, which are likely to become new sectors in their own right.
Digital is and
will be at the heart of the future of the creative industries.
From a start-ups
perspective- How is digital technology shaping new creative
work? What new paths can we forge for creative start-ups? Can we create
the future as a creative act? Which old ways must we not forget? How can we
nurture necessary collaborations between the tech. industry and the creative
industry? How can we learn from each other? How can creatives inform future
technologies? Who gets to make the future of creative enterprise? How can we
learn the skills to survive in the digital future? How do you stay relevant?
