Royal Albert Memorial Museum
Exeter EX4 3RX
This free one-day event taking place at the RAMM on Tue, 7 July 2020 from 09:30 – 18:00 celebrates the positive influence of community and public involvement on university research. Hosted by the University of Exeter’s Public Engagement with Research and Arts and Culture teams, this event will be of interest to those working with, or interested in the arts, research, and community and public engagement, and what happens when these different fields of knowledge and practice join up.
This year the symposium will be exploring the themes of environments, climates, and ecology, and how they relate to communities, society, health and well-being.It is an opportunity to come together, share stories and experiences, and learn from each other. Informal and stimulating, it aims to encourage plenty of discussion and to send you home buzzing with ideas. All levels of experience are welcome.
This year the University of Exeter will also announce the winners of their first Public Engagement with Research prizes, and you are invited to join a drinks reception afterwards to celebrate and meet each other. This is the second Exchange Symposium – the inaugural event was held 20 June 2019.
