This exhibition at RAMM showcases a selection of engaging photographs featuring stories and memories of representatives from diverse cultures and backgrounds in Exeter.
The display focuses on a topic that unites us all as human beings: the home. It looks at how different people welcome guests into their home. The exhibition was created with the help and support of the University of Exeter, Refugee Support Devon, Multilingua and the Hindu Templeas part of the 2019 theme of migration.

The museum is also making a special effort for Refugee Week, which takes place every year across the world in the week around World Refugee Day on the 20 June, co-hosting a day of family activities alongside Refugee Support Devon and City of Sanctuary. In the UK, Refugee Week is a nationwide programme of arts, cultural and educational events that celebrate the contribution of refugees to the UK, and encourages a better understanding between communities.
