Join us at the University of Exeter’s next ‘Languages in a Global World’ talk, an ‘in-conversation’ event, with Professor Emma Loosley (Department of Theology and Religion) in conversation with guest speaker, BBC journalist and Exeter alumn, Frank Gardner. The event will be chaired by Professor Sally Faulkner, Professor of Hispanic Studies and Film Studies and Associate Dean for International and Development in the College of Humanities, and will take place at the University’s Streatham Campus in Exeter.
The College of Humanities ‘Languages in a Global World’ series has been developed to celebrate the study of languages and international cultures and brings external audiences, including school children and their teachers, and our Alumni, to campus. The ‘in-conversation’ events bring a range of high-profile speakers who are leaders in their fields to Exeter. The speakers are language graduates and use languages in their work.
Followed by a drinks reception and book signing, following the ‘in-conversation’ event, from 5.30pm – 6.30pm .
